September 11, 2009On the West side of the Greystone mansion sits a long, narrow pond that has a half dozen turtles living in it. They all compete for room on the little stands that dot the inside of the pond. Teddy was too afraid to dip her paw into this body of water--what if a turtle nipped at her? Not all bears are brave, obviously! (Sorry Teddy.) While Nibs spoke to the turtles, Teddy took a time out on a brown bench.
Some people have asked if the turtles can get out of the pond. They cannot. The edge of the wall is too high!
