The Beautiful Bronzes

November 4, 2009
After perusing the paintings Teddy and Nibs sauntered outside for a look at the B. Gerald Cantor Sculpture Garden. Mr. Cantor is the founder of securities firm Cantor Fitzgerald and became so rich he could collect as many Auguste Rodin bronzed pieces as his heart desired. Before he died in 1996 he donated many of his works of art to museums like LACMA thus creating this mini exhibit. Nibs was fascinated with all the Rodins he saw but Teddy was more impressed with the garden area and how peaceful it was.

  1. there are many benches in the garden. stop in and stay a while! the garden is usually empty and super quiet...
