Lights! Lights! Lights!

November 5, 2009
One of the most brilliant aspects of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is the light display by artist Chris Burden called "Urban Light." Chris used 202 restored antique street lamps, most of them from L.A. County, to create this masterpiece. "Urban Light" looks pretty nifty during the day and even better at night when it's all lit up. Teddy tried to climb one of the lamp posts with little success. At one point Nibs lost her, but after weaving through the installation he spotted her fuzzy head. It's kind of hard to miss her with that pearl necklace and all...

  1. the light display is open to the public 24/7

  2. i've driven by tis lots o times and love it! why would Teddy try to climb one of the lamps? She's so zany!

  3. brilliant! what a great idea. 202 lamps? that's a lot

  4. gorgeous
