What's In That Tiffany's Bag?

Teddy had been eyeing the blue Tiffany bag all night long. She was so excited to see what was inside.

So much anticipation...wow, Teddy loved it! So summery. So romantic. Teddy adores hearts.

Teddy tried it on. Nibs was happy that it fit Teddy just right.

That's not it! More gifts to come.

Teddy received a windfall of birthday presents, lucky bear. Her sister Felicia helped her choose which one to open first!

Teddy liked this gift. Such pretty paper. What could be inside?

It didn't take Teddy long to rip open the paper. Armani Mania perfume. Luxe!

The Cake Was Red Velvet

Nibs wanted only the best for Teddy so he ordered her a Red Velvet birthday cake.

Teddy was overjoyed when she was presented with the 10 pound cake. Heavy!

Afraid to blow out the candles alone (fur catches fire easily), she asked for Nibs' assistance.

Here's a closeup of the cake. Nibs had to do the writing himself. Cake writing isn't easy when you have furry bear paws!

The Party Starts

Teddy's best friend Fopsie was the first to arrive. She brought with her a nicely wrapped prezzie. Hmmm, what could it be?

Next came Teddy's little sister Felicia who is only two years younger than Teddy. Felicia also likes pearls, but goes double strand. Don't these two look an awful lot alike?

Nibs invited his friend Barclay (the little one in the bow tie to Nibs' left).

Soon everyone was in their seats and dinner was served. Nibs made Chicken a la Mushrooms with Jasmine rice and broccoli. Deee-licious!

Teddy made a Root Beer toast to the group, thanking all the bears for coming.

Teddy loved all the attention. Nibs has never seen her happier!

Teddy Turned 30!

Saturday was the big day. Teddy was super excited to have all her friends over for her birthday dinner. She and Nibs put together a Martha Stewart-worthy table. Theme? Gold!

There were Happy Birthday decorations everywhere.

Fresh roses were a must. Normally Teddy likes burnt-orange, but Nibs said pink were better for a birthday party.

And of course a candy dish full of M&Ms. Yum Yum.

The Croissant Cure

We all know coming back from vacation is very hard on our favorite bear. Knowing this, Nibs went out early this morning to get her a fresh batch of croissants. He didn't have time to get her favorites from Champagne on Beverly Drive and settled from the mass-produced pastries at Ralphs instead.

Teddy was grateful nonetheless, and especially enjoyed the cheese croissant. Nibs couldn't join Teddy this morning because he was out getting supplies for her big birthday bash tomorrow.

Teddy spent a good hour sitting alone sipping her coffee. She had a lot on her mind. Today is her last day in her 20s. She will be 30 tomorrow. Has she lived life to the fullest? Has she been a good bear? A nice wife? A responsible citizen? Teddy was in a seriously contemplative mood.

Teddy concluded she has been a great bear. But perhaps she can be a better wife to Nibs, who does so much for her.... yup, that's what she'll do. After so much heavy deliberation, Teddy turned her thoughts back to the obvious: vacation. Where should she go next? Some bears never change!

Lovely Lappert's

With only two days left to Teddy's big birthday dinner party in L.A., Nibs told Teddy this morning, "We gotta go home!" Teddy said fine, she'd pack, but she couldn't part Sausalito without a trip to Lappert's Ice Cream & Yogurt.

Teddy says they make the best mocha fudge ice cream around and she constantly craves it when she's in L.A. Poor Teddy had to wait in line with all the other tourists before she got her scoop.

Ahhh, Teddy finally got her taste of heaven. Sorry, Nibs, no sharing today!
