The Equalizer

August 25, 2010
Last night Teddy wanted to get her mind off it all by watching vintage TV. She popped the popcorn and tuned into an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents titled The Equalizer (1958).
It's about a pretty blonde woman named Louise, played by Norma Crane...
...who cheats on her boring, predictable husband Eldon, played by Martin Balsam...
...with the confident, successful Wayne, played by Leif Erickson.
Eldon finds out about the affair and confronts Wayne, asking him to meet him for a gun duel.
Unfortunately for Wayne, Eldon is setting him up. You see, Eldon doesn't mind dying. He already feels dead inside after Louise's betrayal. So he tricks Wayne into killing him point blank. Wayne is left holding a smoking gun when the police arrive. Eldon? He has NO gun on him. So it's murder. Looks like there will be some jail time for Wayne! So gory! So crazy! Teddy made a mental note to NEVER cheat on Nibs, not even a little.
