"Teddy when will you get out of bed?" asked Nibs. "All your friends are worried about you. Herbert just called and asked if you've been caught in a bear trap!"
"Grrrrrr," said Teddy, turning her back on Nibs.
"Don't growl at me Teddy!" Nibs said, kinda mad. "You need to get your furry face out of this house!"
"A little sunlight will do you some good," he continued.
"Teddy when will you get out of bed?" asked Nibs. "All your friends are worried about you. Herbert just called and asked if you've been caught in a bear trap!"

Maybe Nibs could lure Teddy out of bed with some of her favorite foods like cake and wine. Just be sure not to serve her breakfast in bed or she will have no reason to leave her bed. If that doesn't work, maybe a short vacation?
