The other night Teddy was reading the August issue of Los Angeles magazine to check out the latest and greatest her city has to offer.
She was shocked to read that her favorite author Jillian Lauren (she penned Some Girls, which chronicled her real life experience as a member of a harem in Brunei) has written another book!
It's a fiction book called
Pretty: A Novel
about one woman's experience in a beauty school. Teddy can't wait to buy a copy on Amazon.com when it becomes available on Aug. 30. (Click blue link for a quick pre-order.)

Thanks for the great post about Jillian and "Pretty: A Novel." I will have to see about pre-ordering "Pretty." I have enjoyed reading Jillian's notes on Facebook and blog posts here and there. Thanks again!
