Fopsie A Bride?

Yesterday Teddy invited Fopsie over for some tea and cookies. Teddy said it was time for them to catch up, and when Teddy says "catch up" she means she wants to know what's going on with Herbert! (That nosy Teddy.)

"I'm in love," declared Fopsie. "And I want to get married."

 Teddy was shocked. She didn't expect Fops to fall so hard. "Can I start planning a wedding?" Teddy asked.

"Well, first Herbert has to pop the question," said Fopsie. Ding ding ding! Project for Teddy!

Smoke Gets In Her Eyes

You didn't think Teddy walked out of Bloomingdale's empty pawed did you?

Before exiting she stopped at the Benefit counter and bought herself a little beauty booster.

Sometimes when Tibs has a date night, Teddy likes to apply smoky-colored eye shadow on her lids.

Nice packaging, eh? Teddy isn't sure why birds are on the cover of her eye shadow box, but whatevs.

Benefit makes the best shadow because it doesn't smudge all over Teddy's fur, which would be a disaster. She wants to look pretty, not punched!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

Teddy wouldn't be Teddy if she didn't shop just about every day. This weekend she went to Bloomingdale's at the Century City Mall.

Um, they already have CHRISTMAS ornaments for sale. For reals. Look below!

Gee, they certainly are nice, aren't they?

And there were Xmas cards for sale too.

Teddy thought she should feel angry that the store is jumping on the Christmas thing too fast, but she wasn't angry at all. She was delighted! All the gold and glitter put her in a wonderful mood. She sang Christmas songs all the way home...

So Long Lashes!

Last night Teddy had a nightmare that her false eyelashes turned into spiders and they crawled all over her fur! Eeek! So when she woke up this morning she took off the little critters.

The nightscare freaked her out so much she decided to dispose of the lashes immediately, but not in the house. These things were too dangerous to keep indoors! So Teddy walked outside to the trash bin.

So long lashes! Don't come back!

Awww, Teddy feels better now that she's lash free. She is certain Nibs will be relieved too. He didn't seem too fond of her wearing them past H'ween.

Lash Out/Lash In

What is it with Teddy and these false eyelashes? Nibs has never seen a bear so obsessed. Today Teddy looked high and low for her missing lash.

It wasn't in the Halloween decorations (which need to be taken down. Hello Teddy?!).

And it wasn't in the candy bowl (can you believe there is still any candy left with Teddy around?).

Found! It was stuck on one of the candles.

But instead of throwing it away, like any sane bear would do, Teddy just popped it back on!

Boy oh boy, does that Teddy ever have some quirks!

Is Something Missing Here?

Over a corn flake cereal breakfast this morning, Nibs noticed something peculiar about Teddy.

One of her fake eyelashes was, um, missing!

Nibs didn't have the heart to tell her that one of her false eyelashes from Halloween was not in place.

But he just had to. He can't let her going out of the house that way! What will the neighbors think?

Teddy didn't believe him until she looked in the mirror. Egad! What is she going to do now?

She told Nibs, "Find that lash!"

The Eyes Have It

It's been two days since Halloween and Teddy isn't quite letting go of the holiday. While reading about Thanksgiving recipes in Real Simple magazine this morning, Teddy appeared different.

Can you tell what is off about our favorite bear?

Nibs can and he's quite concerned.

"Teddy, when are you going to take off your false eyelashes?" Nibs asked.

"Never!" barked Teddy. "I want to keep them on forever and ever and ever!"

It was a little too early for Nibs to deal with Teddy's crazy so he just gave her a smooch and walked away. One has to be careful with temperamental bears...
