Sleep (Un)tight

It's may be true that Vegas never sleeps, but Teddy certainly does! Come 5 a.m. she was ready to hit the hay. Check out her bedroom at the Encore. Extra large and fab!

Teddy hopped in without even washing her paws, that's how exhausted she was!

But then an odd thing happened. After reclining in this posh bed for over an hour, she still couldn't fall asleep.

Teddy thinks perhaps they pump something into the air in the casinos to keep you awake. Something like highly concentrated oxygen! Could she be right?

Teddy found this note left of the bed quite ironic. How can anyone sleep tight in Vegas with all that stuff they make you breathe?

The New Workout: Shopping

What do you do after you eat ice cream? Teddy shops. She read on www.coolnurse.com that you can burn up to 200 calories an hour by shopping. It makes sense. When you shop you walk, talk, try things on and carry items. It's almost aerobics, dangnabbit! So Teddy hit Louis Vuitton at the Wynn.

Teddy found this nice purse to buy Nibs. You see, Teddy is in the habit of buying things she likes for Nibs. That way after she gives him the gift, he just hands it back to her. Smart, no? It's supersmart thinks Teddy!

Now all Teddy needs is to convince Nibs that he has to up her credit card limit. Hmmmm... Howz to do that?

A Little Chocolate At Midnight

When the clock struck midnight, Teddy considered playing a little Roulette, but then she got some major chocolate cravings. Luckily, Pizza Place, at the neighboring Wynn Hotel, was still open.

So many ice cream flavors to choose from, what's a bear to do?

Teddy played it safe and went with chocolate. No toppings, no whip cream, no fudge. Is Teddy feeling OK?

Teddy devoured the scoop in record time (56 seconds) then checked out the Place. Not bad for Las Vegas!

Is it just Teddy, or is Vegas starting to look like Disneyland?

Suite Life At The Encore

Nibs booked Teddy a one-bedroom suite at the Encore, which is owned by that crazy-looking tan guy Steve Wynn. There's even a book about the man: Running Scared: The Life and Treacherous Times of Las Vegas Casino King Steve Wynn. He may be a bit freaky, but he sure knows how to run a hotel!

There were lots of cool amenities like this wet bar accented by a purple orchid.

And an office area, not that Teddy is going to do any work.

And let's not forget a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas strip.

Teddy called Nibs right away to thank him for such a lovely room. Nibs was just relieved that Teddy was no longer grumpy. He can't stand a grumpy Teddy!

What will Teddy do now? Gamble? Go out for a treat? Order room service? Decisions, decisions...

Off To Vegas!

Teddy was being such a grumpy bear that Nibs bought her a plane ticket to Las Vegas and gladly dropped her off at the airport this morning!

Teddy was thrilled to be on a new adventure and immediately hit the slot machines as soon as she made her way through the Las Vegas airport.

Nibs gave her a hefty gambling budget. Will she win a bundle or lose her fortune?

Teddy Has The Blues

Teddy's brownie hangover is lasting longer than usual.

She refuses to get out of bed. She just lies there looking at the ceiling!

Nibs is starting to see a pattern. Every time Teddy gets back from vacation she goes into a slump.

Nibs has decided that he needs to get Teddy on a plane asap. But where should he send her?

Nibs Gets Chic

Poor Teddy got a headache from eating too many brownies so Nibs went to dinner alone last night at the new hot spot Chic on Pico Blvd.

The menu was pure French and included a melted goat cheese plate (!) and a bison burger (!!).

Nibs enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly French waiter who described all the wines available. No froggy 'tude here.

The art work stood out. Nibs loves old movie posters like this red one for Stolen Kisses, a film Nibs has never heard of before. So '70s. So.... chic!

Nibs decided on the salmon and avocado appetizer with a side of crisp bread. All bears love salmon. Especially grizzlies, though Nibs is not a grizzly. Like, duh. Does he look like a grizzly?

Nibs can't wait to take Teddy to Chic! She will love it. Especially their extended dessert menu. The French never forget their desserts....and neither does Teddy.
