Table For One

Nibs again told Teddy that he had to skip dinner in favor of going to the gym. Teddy was so hungry that she decided to head out solo for her supper.
Marcel's at The Farmer's Market has some of the best casual French food in L.A. Teddy loves their bread, which they serve by the basket load.
Her main course was a Salad Nicoise. Tre Francais.
How could she neglect dessert? The Apple Tart Tatin caught her eye and tasted better than it looked.
Afterwards she perused Marcel's decorations which included this massive jar of olives!
Teddy had a nice evening, but she missed Nibs. She wished he would return to the good ole Nibs--the one that doesn't exercise or diet. Hmmmm.

Meatless Mondays

Teddy does her best to help the environment. Her latest good deed is to participate in Meatless Mondays where she doesn't touch meat of any kind all day! Paul McCartney came up with this. Eating less meat = helping the environment.
Teddy hit Petite Bakery on Wilshire Blvd. because they have many meatless sandwiches.
They also sell tons of snacks. Your typical lunch spot.
Teddy paid with a hundie. They only take cash and Teddy carries only big bills. She's no small timer!
Teddy settled on a vegetarian sandwich on wheat. Inside were tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and avocado. Yummy! She finished it off with her worst vice: Diet Coke.

Get Happy

Teddy normally loathes self-help books, but she has really taken to "365 Ways To Live Happy" which Nibs gave her for Christmas.
Teddy was stumped by the chapter titled "Exercise Your Way To A Happier You" and quickly jumped over it.
"Finding Happiness Pursuing Your Dreams" was far more interesting to Teddy. It made her think, Did she give up on her acting dreams too quickly?
Teddy hasn't seen Nibs all day. He's been out exercising for hours. That Nibs! What has gotten into him?

Bears For Barnes

Teddy likes shopping at Barnes & Noble in the Westside Pavilion because the staff is so friendly.
Plus there are many levels to check out. Teddy took the escalator.
They have a decent selection of DVDs and there are always enticing sales.
Teddy considered buying the Elizabeth DVD. She really liked the movie. Women in power, what's not to love about that?
Teddy ended up purchasing a fitness DVD for Nibs. He asked for it. Nibs said he wants to lose one pound by summer. That's a lot for a bear his size!

Teddy Recommends...

...The Ghost Writer. Starring Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan (and a surprisingly un-SATC turn from Kim Cattrall), this thriller directed by Roman Polanski is original, suspenseful and beautifully filmed in what's supposed to be Cape Cod, MA (though Teddy couldn't figure out how fugitive Polanski could step on US soil, but whatevs).
Teddy saw the film at The Landmark in West L.A.; Nibs went to the gym instead. He's really into getting fit lately. Teddy can't figure it out.
The theater was thankfully not crowded though a few teenage boys sat next to Teddy and kept looking at their iPhones. Teddy wanted to throw her popcorn on them.

Jake and Vienna Next To Marry?

After Jason and Molly's wedding special Jake and Vienna from the last season of The Bachelor gave an interview. Jake said he is definitely marrying Vienna. Teddy was shocked! Isn't Jake a snake? Won't he dump Vienna soon?
Some of the wedding guests were also interviewed. Host Chris Harrison asked DeAnna if she was engaged to her boyfriend Stephen. She said no and that the question was making Stephen nervous. Awkward alert!
When Jillian and Ed were asked if wedding plans were underway for them, they said yes. Can you believe it? Another Bachelor wedding. Teddy can't wait!
No matter how corny these reality shows get, Teddy just eats them up. Nibs cannot understand her TV tastes.
