Life's a Playground!

While Nibs walked around LaCienega Park, Teddy hit the playground to goof off in the sand.


Teddy really took to the mini rock-climbing area. She felt like she was on Mt. Everest! Well, not really, but it was still an accomplishment to get to the top.


There were no kids around to get in Teddy's way. She liked that. There's nothing worse than having to stand in line for the slide.


The best part of any park are the swings. Though with no Nibs around to push her, it wasn't terribly fun. What is taking Nibs so long?

Power Walk Wednesday!

After that filling Mexican meal yesterday, Nibs decided he needed a proper workout today so he visited LaCienega Park in Beverly Hills, best known as the place where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes would watch Tom's daughter Bella play soccer, creating wild chaos between the soccer moms and the paparazzi.


LaCienega Park has a nifty, sandy walkway and, helpfully, you can keep track of how many miles you've walked. 3.2 laps is 1 mile. Nibs likes to take in at least 2 miles a day.


In the early morning there aren't too many people, mostly pigeons and squirrels.


Nibs took the power walk quite seriously and feels rejuvenated, like he's a new bear!

Time For Tacos

Sometimes Nibs just needs a break from Teddy's frou-frou restaurants so yesterday he visited Pancho's Tacos on Venice Boulevard in Culver City which his friend told him was one of the best Mexican dives in Los Angeles!


Nibs really liked that the menu above the cash register had pictures of the meals. So helpful.


The ambiance was old Mexican charming with murals all over the walls. This work of art had a donkey in it. Nibs rarely sees donkeys in art work. Where Teddy takes him there usually are paintings of pastoral settings or Dutch flowers.


Nibs decided on the chicken tacos. His friend was wrong. This was not the best Mexican dive in Los Angeles, but it wasn't the worst either.


After lunch Nibs wandered around the joint. He found the wooden rooster amusing. Teddy would have liked that. Nibs already misses Teddy. Guess it's time to go home and see what that bear is up to!

Nibs Jealous?

Teddy doesn't quite understand the Robert Pattinson craze, but when she got her new issue of Vanity Fair magazine in the mail she took a look anyhow at this Twilight phenomenon who will just get bigger when his next film, New Moon, opens on Friday.


Teddy was impressed with the photographs by Bruce Weber.


But if this young British actor wants to be taken seriously, why does he take such cornball pinup poses wondered Teddy...


Anyhow, the article was pretty good except Robert kept complaining about his fame. Teddy thinks this is wrong. She never complains about her fame. Or course she's not on the cover of Vanity Fair.... yet!


By midnight Nibs was getting irritated that Teddy was spending so much time on this Pattinson cover story. Sheesh, that Nibs sure gets jealous easily!

Yogen Fun!

Teddy thinks one shouldn't limit their breakfast choices to bacon and eggs like Nibs does. Sometimes you gotta shake things up. That's why Teddy went to Yogen Fruz this morning on Brighton Way in Beverly Hills.


After choosing a flavor (Teddy went with raspberry/vanilla swirl) toppings are selected (shockingly, Teddy bypassed all toppings, even the chocolate chips!).


Teddy was thrilled with her choice even though her cup of yogurt was almost too heavy for her to carry. That Teddy!

A British Escape

Teddy loves her tea parties. A friend recommended she shop at Tudor House on 2nd Street in Santa Monica to stock up on the finest British pastries and imported teas.


Teddy was shocked by the large assortment of yummy things and instantly ordered a chocolate pastry to sample!


There were also tea cups for sale which Teddy thought was a very charming touch...


...And there was even a mini grocery section to pick up the latest Queen-approved jams and jellies.


Next time Teddy will bring Nibs for sure!

Nibs in a Barrel

While Teddy went on an ice cream run Nibs took in the second floor of the Crate & Barrel in Beverly Hills.


He was very impressed with the furniture.


He also went downstairs to check out the linens.


This table runner looked perfect for Xmas... Oh no. Nibs is turning into Teddy!
