Fopsie and Herbert loved the church they got married in, St. Timothy Catholic Church in Los Angeles. That is where they go every Sunday to pray for kooky Teddy and poor Nibs!
The grounds are kept up nicely with fresh flowers, perfect for a photo op.
Whose wedding was prettier? Fopsie Mappleton's or Kate Middleton's? :)

Wedding Photos
May 7, 2011
After the ceremony Fopsie and Herbert posed for some photos inside the church.
Fopsie felt so pretty that she asked her photographer to take dozens of snaps.
Herbert thought it was all fun and kept telling Fopsie, "You're the most beautiful bear I've ever met in my life!"
Fopsie never thought this day would come and now it's here!

Fopsie and Herbert Are Married!
May 7, 2011
Can you hear the wedding bells? This morning at 11 am Fopsie married Herbert at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Los Angeles.
Fopsie wore a white lace dress and matching veil by Monique Lhuillier, an antique cameo from Herbert's mother, and she carried a magnolia bouquet from Bella Flora.
Their vows were touching. Herbert promised to never growl at Fopsie. Fopsie promised to never show her claws at Herbert.
Fopsie was thrilled to finally be a married bear. She couldn't stop smiling! Now she knew why Teddy was so keen on Fopsie walking down the aisle.
Say hello to the new Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Mappleton!

Wedding Preparations
May 7, 2011
Today is the big day when Fopsie will walk down the aisle with Herbert. Teddy had Fopsie over to her house to get ready.
They needed to paint their claws and spritz their fur with perfume. These bears had to look their best!
Fopsie was nervous but followed Teddy's instructions. Fopsie has never been married before. She was worried she'd trip on her dress or something.
After their claws dried, Teddy gave Fopsie a pep talk. "Just enjoy the day and don't worry about anything, you are beautiful Fops," Teddy said. "And don't forget to wear your lip gloss!"

The Wedding Shower
May 5, 2011
Instead of throwing a wedding shower at night in some fancy restaurant, Teddy decided on a picnic shower with just a few friends to celebrate Fopsie's last few days as a single bear.
Teddy was the first to give a toast to dear Fops: "To my special furry friend, may Herbert never annoy you like Nibs does me!" A few nervous chuckles followed.
Felicia used this day as an opportunity to tell Fopsie that she was dating the bride-to-be's ex, Edward. Teddy almost fainted onto the cookie platter!
Fopsie very tactfully said, "That's wonderful Felicia, Edward is a great bear and I am so happy for you." Teddy was so unnerved by Felicia's confession that she changed the subject quickly: "Fopsie, when do you and Herbert plan on having cubs?"
"I hadn't thought about cubs yet, Teddy!" said Fopsie. Fopsie's coworker Theodora (who Teddy had never met before) didn't say much, she just sipped her cocktail. Teddy started to think the shower was kind of weird.
Teddy hopes the wedding goes a lot better than this!

Wedding Stress
May 4, 2011
Last night Teddy couldn't sleep because she was so worried about planning Fopsie's May 7 wedding.
What if she forgot something important like the cake, the candles, the flowers, her speech?
Nibs heard Teddy rustling around and woke up. "Teddy, maybe in the morning you should make a list of all the things you need and then check them off one by one?" Nibs, who is always the practical one, suggested.
"Nibs, you always know what to say," Teddy responded. "I feel a lot better now."
Instead of going back to sleep like Nibs did, Teddy brought a little snack back to her bed: chocolate Lindt balls. Nothing calms Teddy down like a chocolate fix.

Wedding Registry
May 2, 2011
Last night while she was looking over the Los Angeles Times "Select" and having her after-dinner treat composed of coffee and a cookie, Teddy started to wonder if Fopsie, who was getting married on May 7, needed to register for her wedding. Gadzooks!
Teddy just hadn't thought of this before. While she looked over the "Select," which is basically a collection of advertisements for stores such as Cost Plus and Kohl's, Teddy started to wonder where Fops might want to register.
A career girl like Fopsie already had everything. What more could she possibly want? A new China set? Maybe. A Cuisinart? Teddy doesn't even know what those things do (remember, she doesn't cook much). A set of new towels? She will have to consult her sister Felicia on this.
Teddy has really never planned a wedding before and doesn't totally know what she's doing. And this is one subject Nibs cannot help her with. Maybe she should go on some wedding blogs. Have any suggestions?
