Gambling!!!

Teddy doesn't just like consuming vast quantities of chocolate and shopping for expensive European handbags. She also likes to gamble! Nibs let Teddy have some fun by giving her a generous wad of cash to play with. Turns out Teddy is gifted at selecting just the right slot machine to zero in on; she ended up doing very well, getting her paws on a nice chunk of change. Go Teddy!

Inside The Venetian

The Venetian is as fancy looking inside as it is outside. There are gold accents and red velvet drapes everywhere! Very Godfather-esque. When Nibs entered the lobby he was amazed by the Italian paintings on the ceilings. A Sin City version of the Sistine Chapel? Teddy marveled over The Venetian's shopping row which was divided by a water way filled with gondolas. Yes, one could go on gondola rides inside the mall. So Las Vegas! It felt like you were outside because there was a beautifully painted sky, complete with white billowing clouds, and the walk way was lined with charming outdoor cafes. Teddy got lost a few times but Nibs always found her... she kind of stands out in the crowd, if you know what I mean.

Teddy & Nibs Hit Vegas!

Teddy and Nibs spent the weekend in Las Vegas and had a crazy good time! They checked into The Venetian on the Las Vegas strip and delighted in the marvelous architecture which, sure, is Las Vegas frou-frou faux, but still is fun to look at nonetheless. Nibs especially liked all the gondolas outside and was impressed that the gondoliers actually sang songs in Italian (!). After conversing with a few of them, Nibs discovered that many of the gondoliers are 100% Italian and they moved to Las Vegas just for the job (!!). Crazy, no? Follow Teddy and Nibs all day today as they show you around Las Vegas...

Ghouls & Gobblins

Watch out Teddy! That ghoul will get you! Just kidding. It's not real. Teddy and Nibs had to take in the entire Halloween section at Target before they left the store. By the way, if you want Halloween loot go now. Target sells out early and they like to get the next holiday stuff in ASAP. Teddy and Nibs already saw an aisle of Christmas ornaments (yes, Xmas!) during their Target visit. Talk about moving merchandise! Before you know it we'll be seeing Easter candy on their shelves.

Take the Reese's and Run!

Teddy could eat Halloween candy all day, every day! While Nibs was looking at costumes Teddy attempted to sneak a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Halloween candy into their Target cart, but poor Teddy couldn't carry the extra large bag so she had to ask for Nibs' help (that Nibs is so strong!). Teddy wanted to open the bag immediately, as in before they paid for it, but Nibs said no (...and that Nibs can be so mean!). Oh well...

Halloween Costumes

Halloween is just 29 days away, and Teddy and Nibs don't want to waste any time when it comes to selecting the best costumes on the market. So they headed to Target in Culver City for the biggest selection. Teddy was wowed by the Wonder Woman outfit, it's the best she's seen yet. Nibs wants to be Batman, but he was also intrigued by the werewolf getup. Halloween is Teddy and Nibs' favorite holiday so maybe they'll get two costumes each! Who doesn't love a holiday that includes dressing up and eating candy?!?!

It's Time For Lemonade!

Teddy has always wanted to try Lemonade on Beverly Blvd. just East of Doheny Drive because she heard they have scrumptious cupcakes. So yesterday when Nibs was busy with business meetings Teddy moseyed over to the hot spot. Teddy was stunned by how small the restaurant was; even the cupcakes were miniature! But maybe that's a good thing: too much sugar makes a bear grumpy. Teddy got her paws on one of the $1 Red Velvet cupcakes. Not bad. Not bad at all! Next time Teddy will have to bring Nibs with her...
